Honor, Huawei’s budget brand, is all set to launch its first Magic & Dream smartwatches in Europe. The Honor Watch Magic and its sister watch, the Dream. The Magic and Dream are actually a little familiar. They’re rebrands of the Honor Watch, which the company launched in China earlier. They’re basically smaller, more affordable Huawei Watch GTs with week-long battery life.
The Honor Watch Magic comes in black, blue, or silver. It sports the same interface as the Huawei Watch GT. On the other hand; Magic smartwatch has a smaller, 1.2-inch HD AMOLED display.
Magic & Dream smartwatch
According to Honor, these smartwatches have week of battery life on a 178mAh battery. Not only that they have 24-hour heart rate monitors and water resistance up to 50 meters. Alongside that Magic & dream smartwatches also Honor’s TruSleep sleep tracking. They also have TruRelax blood pressure monitoring. GPS and GLONASS support are on board, as is NFC for Huawei Pay.
Both the smartwatches sizes appear to sport 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreens with 390 x 390 resolutions (326 ppi). They alsy features GPS tracking, nine different fitness monitoring modes, water resistance up to 50 meters. Coming to medical point, Magic and Dream smartwatches also gives phone notification alerts, heart rate monitoring, and blood pressure monitoring as well. On the other hand, the heart rate monitoring is done by using what Honor calls HRV (heart rate variability).
The company is going so far to say that their smartwatch will last “one full day of use with a mere 10-minute charge.” Those are definitely features to put to the test; they would be impressive if true. The Honor Watch Magic comes in black, blue, or silver. Well the Honor Dream (sporting the same specs, but a smaller band) comes in coral pink and white apricot.
