Besides all other wear OS smartwatches, there is new one in the market and it is Misfit’s new Vapor X. The Misfit’s Vapor X smartwatch is lightweight, stylish, and smart with many updated features. On the other hand, it is only it runs on the Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset, making it one of only a handful of smartwatches to benefit from the enhancements the new processor bring. The smartwatch also brings more accurate fitness tracking and advanced ambient modes.

It is available now for an introductory price of $199.99, which is $80 less than its ultimate price of $279.99.

Misfit’s Vapor X

While, coming to its specs and other details, it has a 1.19-inch AMOLED display. And its 42mm case is built with a lightweight aluminum alloy that weighs in at 43 grams. Other than this, the smartwatch has smart battery which last for few days as well.

Besides that, it has new features as well; this includes a Fossil’s new Cardiogram app. This app features interactive charts and metrics that supposedly keep an eye out for signs of diabetes, sleep apnea, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation. On the other hand, it features a science for tracking diabetes, sleep apnea, and hypertension via a wearable heart rate monitor is unclear, and other smartwatches have only begun to tackle Afib.

Other than these, the company says that the Vapor X will come preloaded with new applications, including Spotify. That might not seem like much, but it’s a nice touch considering how much of a pain it is to download apps on Wear OS in the first place.

Now, for the technical details, Misfit asserts a full day of battery power, or more if you use its new battery-saving mode. It comes with a magnetic charger that’s capable of charging 80% of the battery in just 50 minutes. The watch features the usual 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Well, the watch support on-device GPS, microphone, NFC for Google Pay, a heart rate sensor, and is waterproof up to 30 meters deep.
