Boeing Starliner spacecraft is being developed in collaboration with NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. The Boeing Starliner was designed to accommodate seven passengers, or a mix of crew and cargo, for missions to low-Earth orbit. For NASA service missions to the International Space Station, it will carry up to four NASA-sponsored crew members and time-critical scientific research.
The CST-100 Starliner is Boeing’s answer to the SpaceX Dragon V2. Although, Boeing has been developing the Boeing Starliner CST-100 since 10 years. Along with the Dragon, it’s one of just two designs NASA chose for the Commercial Crew Program that will replace the Space Shuttle
