Google has updated his Google Fit and brings changes to its app. Now there is dark mode and sleep pattern is available. With the updates, it becomes more helpful when you’re ramping down for the night. Besides that, the fitness app now tracks sleep patterns from apps that share their data. Well, this gives the users better sense of whether or not you need more sleep.
According to details, the app does not work itself. Instead, users need to use another third-party app to record your sleeping habits and connect it to Google Fit.

While, talking about the different functions, Google Fit, the fitness tracking app from Google that gives a complete view of the health and show the Heart Points. It also shows Move Minutes you earn through other activities, brings a dark theme to the Google Fit app.
The Google Fit app already tracks Heart Points and Move Minutes. The more you move, the more Move Minutes you earn. The more intensely you move, the more Heart Points you earn. And the more Heart Points you earn, the closer you are to reaching AHA and WHO’s recommended amount of weekly physical activity to reap the health benefits.
On the other hand, sleep patterns will now be displayed over time with purple bars that shows the users how many hours, and between which hours, they are asleep. It doesn’t seem to show specific details, such as deep and light sleep hours, however. You can view all this information from the home screen when you launch Google Fit. Besides that the Dark theme can be enabled by going to your profile and selecting Settings.
Google says that currently it is there for Android users. But soon iPhone users will be able to see a map displaying the route they took during their workout. For tracking, the data will be based on actively tracked workouts, such as walking, running, or biking using your Apple Watch, Wear OS watch, or other connected apps.
