Samsung Galaxy Book S! The Innovation

Besides the Galaxy Note 10 and 10 Plus, Samsung has launched its Galaxy Book S. The company says the new computer, complete with a 13-inch touchscreen display “looks like a laptop” but has the “essence of a smartphone. According to the news, it is laptop but it is like a supercharged tablet. Besides that the laptop’s battery lasts for 23 hours and can be charged via USB-C as well. Besides that specs, which comes later to details, the Book S is among the stylish devices as well.

Unlike the new launched Galaxy Note, Samsung has shared quite less details of its new Book. There’s only a single USB-C port on the right edge, while another USB-C slot and a headphone jack are all you’ll find on the left. Tucked under this pair of ports is a SIM card slot that also has a spot for a microSD card. This tray is where we found the AT&T SIM that kept our demo unit connected to an LTE network, which is one of the best things about a Snapdragon-powered laptop.

On the other hand, it is first system made-for-PC Snapdragon 8cx chipset that Qualcomm announced in December. The Snapdragon 8cx promises performance and battery boosts that are meant to rival an Intel U-series option on speed. The ultimate thing is that company says that the Galaxy Book S will last 23 hours on a charge.

Coming to the specs, Samsung will offer 256GB or 512GB of storage in the Galaxy Book S with a microSD card slot to add up to 1TB more. Both come with 8GB of memory to back up the laptop’s 7nm 64-bit octa-core processor.

Now after the partnership with Microsoft,  the Galaxy Book S will have OneDrive cloud storage and Microsoft’s Your Phone app. It means that it will allow for a flawless connection between the Galaxy Note 10 and the laptop. Ultimately, user will have an access and move files, photos and video between the two as well as answer calls, send texts and receive notifications.
