Adidas is among the best sports essential maker company, and this time it comes with the zero waste shoes, The Futurecraft Loop. It has launched a sneaker made from virgin plastic. And that can be ground up and remade again, as part of the company’s bid to address the plastic crisis. The shoe Futurecraft is a first step for the brand to help “get off plastic waste”.

Adidas wanted to make a shoe you can repurpose time and time again. Therefore Futurecraft Loop is only the start of that sustainability effort. So, we need to innovate our way out of this mess.”

coming to its working, it is performance running shoe for everyone. But it can be 100% ground up and melted back into raw materials. So, this specification will help to provide a material for a brand-new shoe. It says that, by enabling a manufacturing model where raw materials from one shoe can be used to make another, it intends to take responsibility for the entire life of a product.

According to Adidas, that idea leads them to think about not using any glue to put together the shoe. Thus, it allows the materials to be recycled for a completely new pair of shoes, in addition to water bottles, tote bags and more.

The Adidas official Eric Liedtke says that, it is a shoe that was “made to be remade.”  Besides that, he said that It is milestone not only for the Adidas but for the whole shoe industry. Awareness has been growing among fashion and footwear brands that their overproduction is a major strain on the planet.

on the other hand, the company claims it tested the Loop with people who ran up to 400 kilometers (about 250 miles).  And the pair seemed to hold up well. Company says that this specific version of Future Loop will be limited to 200 pairs only. After given to the selected group of runners, on their feedback it will release for the public in couple of years.
