Asus this time of years, unveil new lineup of products. Besides the other products there are two small and innovative gadgets, Asus ZenScreen Touch and new trackpads. Asus has taken to this year’s Computer to reveal a number of interesting new products ranging from laptops to portable gaming displays and more. Asus was one of the first companies to release portable USB-C monitors, and at Computex this year it’s releasing two unique new designs. On the other hand, the touchscreen trackpads are smartphone-like screen that replaced the traditional trackpad, turned out to be less of a gimmick.

Asus ZenScreen Touch and New Trackpads
Coming to the first thing in the lineup, the ZenScreen Touch a 15.6-inch 1080p touchscreen designed and the second is Strix XG17 is another portable 1080p monitor. The ZenScreen Touch has a 7,800mAh battery, comes with a protective case that folds up into a kickstand, and it also has Asus’ trademark hole in the corner that lets you prop the screen up with a pencil in a pinch.
On the other hand, The ROG Strix XG17 is all about gaming. It’s the world’s first portable 240Hz gaming monitor, Asus proudly proclaims, and it has a 17.3-inch IPS panel that supports variable refresh rate.
This monitor also has two USB-C ports, Micro HDMI, and a 7,800mAh battery, which Asus says should be good for 3 hours at 240Hz. Besides that basically, the trackpad 2.0 on the new ZenBook S works a lot more like a smartphone. Asus has restores the interface with Android-style menu buttons and icons.
So, it’s easier to switch in and out of regular trackpad mode than before. Asus says the ScreenPad 2.0 has been redesigned along with the laptop’s software to improve the original implementation required the discrete GPU to be fired up far more often.
