Competition is getting hotter and hotter in the fordable smartphone market. As Lenovo, Microsoft, Huawei and Xiaomi have planned to get this technology. Recently Samsung have expressed its keen interest in this technology as well. Samsung mobile head has thrown some light on its long-in-development device. It revealed that the new device can be expected to double up as a tablet that will fit in the user’s pocket as a folded smartphone.

Samsung’s head of mobile said it is “time to deliver” foldable smart-phones. Koh said that Samsung isn’t in a hurry to rush out a half baked product, however. “When we deliver a foldable phone, it has to be really meaningful to our customer.”

Galaxy F

DJ Koh said, these sets will not “disappear after six to nine months after it’s delivered.” Instead, it’s intended to bridge the gap between smartphone and tablet, allowing for multitasking capabilities from a single device”. Samsung is more focusing on developing innovations that should last long. Samsung’s new devices will accepted and liked by the customers all over. He said, “What’s more, the company acknowledges rivals are trying to beat Samsung to the punch with this technology and it “didn’t want to lose the world’s first title”.

According to him, the Galaxy F is not just a one-off concept. This innovation is just a beginning of a long-running new range. It seems Galaxy F is not a just product which company is launching to stay in the competition. Rather Samsung is focusing high on this project and have taken it seriously. According to the head mobile: “We wouldn’t have started [the project] if it was a going to be a one-time thing.”

The rumored about the design of Galaxy F, the device will sport a 7.3-inch primary OLED display and a 4.6-inch external OLED display. The company gave a hint about at the possibility of the phone being launched next month at the Samsung Developer Conference on November 7-8.
