After the smartphones, now there are some smart glasses as well. Recently Huawei smart glasses have been announced. According to the some details, Huawei is launching connected glasses in partnership with Gentle Monster. Well the good news is that, there won’t be a single model, but a collection of glasses with integrated electronics.
Huawei is positioning the glasses as a sort of earbuds replacement, a device that allows talk on the phone without putting anything in your ears. As per details, there’s no button on the device.
Huawei Smart Glasses
Huawei in partnership with Korean glasses brand Gentle Monster is making the smart glasses to pair with its smartphones. The Huawei smart glasses are without button but user can tap the temple of the glasses to answer a call for instance.
Coming to its tech, the smart glasses offer dual microphone technology, AI noise reduction for clearer audio, and speakers delivering audio straight to your ears. The Huawei smart glasses are buttonless (using tapping gestures), IP67 water and dust resistant, and use NFC for wireless charging. The smart glasses will come in both sunglasses and standard lens variants.
On the other hand, Huawei smart glasses have 2,200mAh battery. User can charge them wireless through the case of the glasses or with the help of USB-C port.
Besides that, the antenna, charging module, dual microphone, chipset, speaker and battery are all integrated in the eyeglass temple. There are two microphones with beam-forming technology to understand what you’re saying even if the device is sitting on your nose. Surprisingly, there’s no camera on the device. Huawei wants to avoid any privacy debate by skipping the camera altogether.
