Well the Chinese brand will be going head to head with Huawei using its very own 10x hybrid zoom camera outside of its home territory. Coming to the Reno series, the Reno 10x Zoom is basically the Reno 5G sans 5G radio, featuring the same 13-megapixel f/3.0 periscopic zoom camera plus an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide camera.
During the early launch, all three Reno phones tout a cute pop-up camera wedge for 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfies, along with a 48-megapixel f/1.7 main rear camera. Together, the three rear cameras cover a focal length of 16mm to 160mm, hence the “10x hybrid zoom.” The smaller Reno, on the other hand, only has a 5-megapixel f/2.4 assistive camera to add bokeh to the main camera.
Going tin to the details, the 48-megapixel IMX586 features OIS, a half inch sensor size, an f/1.7 aperture, 26mm focal length, 0.8µm pixels and supports pixel-binning to condense four-times the amount of image data into a more refined final 12-megapixel image. All that image data also plays a part in helping resolve fine detail when zooming in on things.
While talking about the performance, phone series will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and up to 8GB of RAM. The phone is equipped with huge 4065mAh battery and Full HD, AMLOED display.
