A leading tech giant Razer has ventured a little off-road with its latest peripherals. The firm is perhaps best known for its gaming accessories but this time, Razer has decided to deliver something new. This time around, it has made a Razer keyboard and mouse specifically designed for office work or in today’s world, you know, working from home.
The trend of esports may be growing faster as people spend more time at home but there are also a big number of people who are working from home now. So this Razer keyboard and mouse is intended for them.
Razer Keyboard and Mouse
The Pro Type keyboard uses Razer’s orange mechanical switches — while it’ll have a clicky feeling, it should be more peaceful than many other gaming keyboards. The keys are backlit with white LEDs and should be long-lasting for up to 80 million keystrokes. They also have a soft-touch layer, which Razer added for “all-day typing support. The $140 keyboard has wireless and Bluetooth connectivity for up to four devices, along with programmable keys that allow macro recording.
As for the Pro Click mouse, Razer worked with ergonomic device maker Humanscale to make it convenient for all-day use. It’s produced to keep your wrist at a natural 30-degree angle to reduce the risk of contracting maladies such as tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Its palm, thumb, and pinky support should also help assist your hand and decrease stress.
The $100 Pro Click has eight programmable buttons and multi-host Bluetooth connectivity for four devices. Razer declares the battery should last for over 400 hours on a single charge, and that the mouse will be enduring enough for up to 50 million clicks.
What’s more? Razer also introduces a Pro Glide surface (aka a mouse pad), which has a cushioned, micro-weave cloth surface that costs $10.
Yes, you are right. You can quite simply fire up Microsoft Flight Simulator after your workday and play it using these. But since they don’t have the most elegant of designs, at least they won’t look cool out of place if your partners catch sight of them. These amazing stocks are available from Razer’s website, and you can buy them through approved resellers starting August 27th.
