Twitter is testing yet another new feature: subscribe to conversation button that would let users follow a thread without liking or replying to it.
Twitter is a platform where you can quickly share your thoughts with snippets. Hence, no other social network is as fast-moving and up-to-date. Another differentiating factor is that user can’t comment on Tweets like you can on Facebook posts.

Twitter conversation subscriptions is the new tool adds a button to the top right corner of threads. After clicking it, user will get notification when extra tweets are added to the thread. Because users don’t need to “heart” or comment in a thread to receive updates, this could add a bit of mystery. There’s no indication yet if or when Twitter will deploy the change platform-wide, though
Well all it was revealed, when Twitter user and software engineer Jane Manchun Wong exposed the prototype in the Android version of the app. In response to her tweet about it, Twitter said this is an effort to make the network more conversational. These are latest changes that twitter is going to do.
Afterwards, the researcher tweeted a screenshot from Twitter that showed a button reading, “Subscribe to conversation.” with Wong commenting that the feature allows the subscribe and user will receive notifications of a new post on the thread. And all will be done without liking or replying to a post on the conversation.
On the other hand, Twitter later said that it is a plan intended at keeping users on the service for longer. And giving the company more opportunities to serve up ads when people navigate the app.
