Now it’s good news for IOS users, Google has updated Gboard. Google adds translations to its iOS keyboard. The Google has added the useful Translate functionality to the third-party keyboard for iPhone and iPad. Google updated its iOS Gboard third-party keyboard with the translation feature. It allows users to translate text both to and from all of the 100+ supported languages.

Now, user can either select between these languages manually, or have the software attempt to detect it automatically. The feature is available with Gboard version 1.42 and iPhones and iPads with iOS 9 and higher.

So the news updates says that, as the user will type in Gboard, it will find the translation in the suggestion strip or by pressing the Google button. The app automatically detects the language user is typing in and allows the user then select which language user want to translate to. Not only that, the user will also be able to paste text and translate it to or from any supported language.

While coming to its functionality, the triggering a translation from the keyboard is easy. Google detects the language you are typing in automatically. So simply tap the Google button and then select a language to translate into. Text can be copy and pasted in to be translated.

In addition to the translation feature, Gboard has language support for 685 languages. To help people communicate in their first language, Gboard offers keyboard layouts tuned for each language, as well as autocorrect and predictive text features. Google has been steadily adding languages to Google Translate. Despite that users are expecting the feature to continue to grow on iOS.
