Besides many ways to share and send your file, Mozilla has just launched a free app called Firefox Send. App is with the same service that it launched for web users a couple of weeks ago. Firefox Send allows the user to share files of up to 1GB via a web link, or 2.5GB if you make a free account. The link and the associated file expire after a time frame of user’s choosing. This can be as short as five minutes or as long as seven days. Alternatively, you can set it to expire after anything between 1 and 100 downloads.
The share service features end-to-end encryption for security, but for extra peace of mind you can also add a password to the file. So, for protection and secrecy of the data or file is only intended recipient (or multiple) is able to download it.

With Firefox Send, you can add optional password protection, define how many times a file may be downloaded, and set an expiration date after which the file is deleted. There’s no way to keep files available indefinitely.
In addition to these, Mozilla said in a statement, “We will review usage of the Send for Android Beta and determine if there is a need for an iOS launch.”
There are few things which user needs to understand, once user has set the limitations and hit the “upload” button, Firefox Send springs into action. After that, then provides the user with a link to the file that user can then share with whomever the user choose to send
Touting the official launch of Firefox Send for the web earlier this month, Mozilla’s Nick Nguyen wrote in a post that if user wanted to send some file for one time or limited access to those file. User can choose Firefox Send. With Send, you can feel safe that your personal information does not live somewhere in the cloud indefinitely.
The service is part of Mozilla’s effort to expand its reach beyond its best-known product, the Firefox web browser. Firefox has faded in popularity compared with Google’s dominant Chrome and is a rarity on Android phones and iPhones.
