An electric maker Boosted now turns to make electric scooter. And their first electric scooter is Boosted Rev. Boosted, known as the leader in electric skateboards, unveiled their newest road running device. The Boosted Rev is the company’s first electric scooter, and it is exactly upto the expectation of its fans and of electric skateboards.
It is available for pre-order today, Boosted Rev costs $1,599. While it is designed to be tough, fast, efficient up hills and safe.

When you look at it, it will appear to be more off electric bike than a scooter. The frame is a combo of 6061-T6 extruded aluminum and forged parts, making a super-solid ride. The plank area is spacious, with a touch of give for comfort, but it’s a far cry from the bounciness of Boosted’s longboards. The two in-wheel 750-watt motors seem quieter than the boards as well,
On the other hand, it has dual-wheel drive, is able to travel up to 24 mph with a range of 22 miles, and climb and descend 25%-grade hills. This electric scooter also comes with three ways to brake, though, Boosted is confident people will only really use one. The electric Boosted Rev is a dual wheel drive electric scooter with a 750 W continuous motor placed in each wheel. That means a published 1.5 kW of continuous power, and in all likelihood a true peak power value north of 2 kW.
Just like other scooters, the Boosted Rev has three ride modes that respectively max out at 12, 18 and 24 mph. Unlike many other scooters on the market, Rev features wide air-filled tires to help with shock absorption and traction.
The rider will use the brakes by the help of e throttle wheel, which enables one-handed acceleration and braking. The two other braking mechanisms are the traditional disc brake and fender brake. Besides that, it wider deck help to stand and drive in comfortably and convenient manner.
