As the competition in the sound and designing is getting high and high, Bowers & Wilkins Wireless speaker family ‘Formation’ is the latest addition. Earlier Sonos has launched the home decor type of speakers. This time Bowers & Wilkins unveils the wireless speaker family ‘Formation’. The Bowers & Wilkins are famous for known for its lavish Nautilus and 800 Series Diamond speakers, is launching a wireless audio system called Formation.

So, The Formation lineup of products has been designed purposefully in-house and uses a patented web network. Besides that there is Formation App is available to control and to play what you like.

The B&W Formation range consists of five products at launch: the Formation Duo active wireless speakers, the Formation Wedge wireless speaker, a Formation Bar soundbar, a Formation Bass subwoofer and the Formation Audio wireless hub.

The company is starting with a soundbar, two bookshelf-style speakers, a cheaper single speaker, a standalone subwoofer and an audio box that gives older devices streaming capabilities. All five pieces will work separately or in tandem for a multi-room experience similar to Sonos. All the products are available separately as well, but combine price is bit to heavy $7,795.

Thus Bowers & Wilkins Wireless speaker family ‘Formation ‘aims to deliver true, wired hi-fi sound quality. And that is possible through the series of wireless products capable of delivering whole-home audio.

According to the company, The Formation Suite can support audio playback at up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution for the promise of “denser, richer, best-in-class sound without information loss.”

While the Formation app is there on Android and iOS, for controlling the system and streaming music services. Besides that it also functions to have for Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready, aptX HD, Bluetooth 4.1 and 96/24-bit high-resolution audio.
