After a long wait, JBL Android TV soundbar has been released finally. Almost, over a year of announcement, Harman is finally releasing its JBL Link Bar, a smart sound bar that comes with Android TV built-in. The new device effectively doubles as a smart speaker, and does away with the need for any additional streaming devices. On the other hand, the pre-orders started almost a year ago too, but now the Link Bar can finally be purchased from the JBL website and approved retailers for $399.95.
Besides that if the user wanted to have extra bass, they can also purchase an optional sub-woofer for an additional $299.95 as well. It will add magic to your home cinema.
JBL’s Android TV Soundbar
The home cinema or theater almost has no impression, if you don’t have a quality sound bar. Thus, in order to make the home cinema more dynamic, this JBL soundbar is the perfect choice. Besides that, this effective soundbar can also turn your regular old TV into a smart TV with Android TV built in. it also gives you access to apps like Netflix, YouTube and Hulu.
On the other hand, this soundbar is equipped with Google Assistant built-in. It means which you can search through your Android TV content using your voice alone, as well as controlling your smart home. Plus, it has built-in Chromecast, so you can easily stream your local content on a big screen.
In order to drive the sound, JBL’s soundbar has two 0.8-inch tweeters and four 1.7-inches x 3.2-inch racetrack drivers. If you don’t want to watch anything on the TV, you can use the soundbar to stream music too. It comes with 3 HDMI input ports to attach game consoles, Blu-ray players and other external devices, adding some level of voice control to these as well.
