Well, SteelSeries Arctis 1 wireless is world’s first USB-C wireless gaming headset. These innovative gaming headsets, allows lossless, gaming-grade wireless across four different systems. While, coming to it details, these wireless gaming headphones connects to a USB-C dongle, instead of using Bluetooth. The headset works by a SteelSeries’ own lossless 2.4GHz wireless tech to reduce latency. It’s the world’s first USB-C wireless gaming headset and a promising use of the new standard.
Other than that, it can be used on PC, PS4, Android and, with an included 3.5mm cable, plugged into any device with a headphone jack, such as Xbox One controllers. Other than these, the Arctis 1 also has a USB-A adapter, which users can use when their Switch is docked. Besides that, the headphones boast 20-hour battery life and can work up to 30 feet away from the console.
On the side of the left earphone comes buttons for muting mic or adjusting the volume. The headphones are lightweight and soft so that they won’t put a lot of pressure on the user’s head. On the other hand, the company says that in its press release, The Arctis 1 Wireless also uses the same ClearCast microphone. This is there for natural-sounding clarity and noise cancellation, but instead of being retractable like the Arctis 3, 5, 7 and 9X, the microphone is detachable so it can easily transition between a headset and headphones.
