Now shoot with world’s smallest full-frame mirrorless camera, the Sigma fp. The camera weighs just 370 grams, so you can carry it anywhere and everywhere. Before that, Sigma was working on an L-mount camera ever since the announcement of the L-mount Alliance. But the Sigma fp comes with a surprise, the compact camera measures in at 112.6 × 69.9 × 45.3mm. Besides that user a feat achieved by leaving out the mechanical shutter entirely.

The world’s smallest and lightest ‘pocket-able full-frame’ camera’s price is not revealed. But other mirrorless camera offered by Sigma ranges $800 to $1200.

The Sigma fp

While, talking about the lens, it measures 113x70x45mm in size. It is just bigger than a regular point and shoot camera. The design of the fp is also rather simplistic, with a fixed 3.2-inch 2.1million dot display. There’s also the usual port like an HDMI-out, flash-sync and USB 3.1 socket on the side.

In terms of what the camera can do, there’s a lot Sigma managed to pack into this little thing. The sensor has an ISO range of 100-25600, expandable up to 6-102400. The camera is capable of capturing 14-bit RAW DNG files, is capable of EyeAF and also supports HDR capture. What’s most impressive though, is the 18fps burst mode, although it is limited to 12 shots.

Besides that, the Sigma fp uses a 24.6MP BSI-CMOS sensor with a traditional Bayer filter, not the Foveon sensors Sigma is known for. On the other hand, this sensor is placed inside a body that has been extensively weather sealed and fitted with a 3.2-inch 2.1M-dot touchscreen, SD card slot, HDMI port, flash sync port, mic and headphone ports, USB 3.1 port, and remote shutter port. In addition to announcing the fp, Sigma also announced three new lenses and teased a Foveon version of the fp.
