Before the launching, Xperia 2 and Xperia 20 details leaked on internet. On the other hand, Sony loves to launch a new smartphone every six months. At 2019 Mobile World Congress, Sony announced the Xperia 1 and mid-rangers Xperia 10 and 10 Plus. But just as the flagship Xperia 1 has hit shelves, some renders have appeared of its successor, dubbed the Xperia 2.
Well the leaked confirm one good thing for many users, is that there is no big change in the design. So, the Xperia 2 and Xperia 20 will almost have same design of Xperia 1.
Xperia 2 and Xperia 20
According to the leaks info, the Sony Xperia 20 is shown off in a new set of renders that shows how this device differs from its earlier models. The overall design of the Sony Xperia 20 is largely the same as the Xperia 10, but there are some key details that have changed.
Only has combined the fingerprint sensor and power button on this model. On the Xperia 10, there was a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, but there was also a separate power button. Having the two combined is almost certainly a better move for the device. As seen in the Xperia 20 renders below, users will only find a volume rocker alongside the fingerprint sensor.
The same 21:9 aspect ratio Cinema Wide display the Xperia 1 offers renders to Xperia 2. The front at the top of the display is still present in the Xperia 2 renders, resulting in a very similar look from the front. On the rear however, the triple camera is positioned in the top left corner back, where Sony used to place the rear camera before the centralized position of the Xperia 1.
On the other hand, the Xperia 2 will have a 6.1-inch display instead of a 6.5-inch display like the Xperia 1 and it will measure 158 x 68.3 x 8.3mm, which is 9mm shorter and 0.4mm narrower than the Xperia 1.
