Initially, 8BitDo introduces the wireless gamepad M30, a device that is inspired by Sega and shares the layout as well as the appearance of the original Genesis. However, it boasts some up-to-date enhancements as well. These updates includes Bluetooth support, built-in home screen, screenshot buttons, and a turbo function. On top of all these modern features, a single charge of its battery is estimated to last up to 20 hours of play time. Similar to other 8BitDo controllers, M30 is compatible with gaming platforms such as the Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, and Android.
on the other hand, the company has also made a new version of the Retro Receiver wireless adapter for those who still own an original, working Genesis. This small device, just like its older versions for the NES and SNES, allows users to use various wireless controllers with an old console, such as Xbox One controller, DualShock 4, Nintendo Switch Pro controller, Wii U controller, and the like. While, Mega Sg, which resembles the Sega Genesis, will hit the shelves in March. It is a retro console that can play the Sega Genesis, Mega Drive, and Master System cartridges. It also works well with modern TVs via HDMI.
