Earlier for lighting the bicycle, riders use to attach bottle type dynamo which when rub against type produces light. Now, it got the advancement, the form of the fork-mounted CadenceX generator. On the other hand, its maker says that it can replace the batteries currently needed for all bicycle electronics. According to the PedalCell, the device features a rubber-edged wheel that spins as it presses lightly against the bike’s front wheel rim.
The CadenceX generator from PowerCell will power a bike’s gadgets by tie together the spin of its wheels. It can be decoupled to eliminate drag when no power is needed.

Developed with the oncoming wave of smart bikes in mind, PedalCell’s CadenceX is designed to power just about everything on the bike. It includes lights, smartphone, sport cameras and smart locks and shifters.
On the other hand, a small rubber wheel spins in contact with the bike’s front wheel, generating the power that is sent to the central Smart Power Hub on the handlebars, where it can then be routed to various devices. While describing its function, the device has a rubber-edged wheel that spins as it presses lightly against the bike’s front wheel rim. After that it generates electricity, which is sent through wiring to a capacitor-equipped handlebar-mounted Smart Power Hub.
After that, that hub in turn regulates the current, feeding it out stably and consistently regardless of cycling speed. Well, it delivers a maximum of 20 watts powers, but CadenceX isn’t intended to power electric bikes’ motor. Rather it is there to power up the devices attached on the bicycle. Additionally, because the capacitor stores a limited amount of power, those devices are able to keep running when the bike is stopped for short periods.
Besides that, Wheel hub-integrated dynamos can also be used to run devices such as lights. But the company claims that its system generates much more power due to the fact that the rim spins monumentally faster than the hub.
