After the four year of gape the company has updated its Fairphone 2 with new smart phone Fairphone 3. Well, the company’s mission to build the ultimate ethical smartphone continues. And that brings us to the new and upgraded Fairphone, it offers enhances specs but the same promise to sustainable and responsible phone development. Besides that the new phone make its way out with keeping in mind the environmental factor as well.
On the other hand, Fairphone says that its latest handset is easy to repair thanks to being constructed out of seven modules.
The Fairphone 3 Smartphone
According to the company, the phone is out and the Fairphone 3 attempts to deliver on this promise by being easy to repair. Not only that it’s being constructed out of responsibly-sourced, conflict-free, and recycled materials where possible. Besides that the company has attempted to use materials that are as ethical as possible for its third handset. The tin and tungsten used in its construction is conflict free, the gold is Fairtrade, and the copper and plastics are recycled.
While, speaking of design, the new phone has the same design of Fairphone 2 but with upgradations. Talking about the specs, the phone features a 5.7-inch Full HD display, a 12-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the other hand, the Fairphone 3 smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. And the phone features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and 3000 mAH battery. Well, if the battery goes wrong, it’s removable and allows you to easily replace it if its capacity starts to degrade.
For the $500, other specs include dual nano-SIM slots, 3.5mm port, Android Pie, NFC, and an included bumper case. Other than this, the phone runs Android 9 Pie.
