Well after the Jeep comes up with its Pickup Trucks, how GMC can ignored that. So being a competitor  General Motors Company has launched its Pickup Truck edition. The 2019 GMC Sierra CarbonPro Edition Pickup Trucks is not a traditional 4 by 4 vehicle. The key benefit to the CarbonPro Edition is less weight. Therefore, the his edition cuts 60 pounds from a similarly equipped Sierra wearing a steel bed.

The GMC Pickup Truck is finally ready after testing. And it will hit the road with CarbonPro editions of the Sierra 1500 Denali and AT4 models this summer.

2019 GMC Sierra CarbonPro Edition

The Carbon fiber is more easily formed than steel, which allows for the increase in cargo volume and also provides opportunities for engineers to integrate features such as pockets for a bed divider and indentations at the front that can accommodate motorcycle tires.

Besides that, the carbon lighter, the carbon-fiber material is tougher, too, and resists scratching, denting, and corrosion. Further to the point, the CarbonPro editions of the Sierra won’t need to be equipped with any special bed liners.

Vice president at Global GMC said, “CarbonPro is made of the same raw material found in seven-figure supercars and even aerospace applications. Coupled with offering the world’s first six-function MultiPro tailgate, the 2019 Sierra packs a one-two hauling punch for whatever the situation demands.”

The Engine

The Sierra comes standard with a 4.3-liter V6 engine that puts out 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. It’s mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The base engine provides enough power for daily driving, but if customer wanted to have bigger engines. there are also models with powered oriented.

Besides that, there are two V8 engine power options: a 5.3-liter V8 that produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Well, the 5.3-liter is available with a six-speed automatic or an eight-speed automatic, depending on whether you opt for Dynamic Fuel Management.

On the other hand, the second one is a 6.2-liter that puts out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The 6.2-liter is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Both of these engines feel stronger than the V6, and the larger V8 moves the Sierra easily.
