The present shape of Chevrolet Camaro is formed in year 2019, but since then Chevrolet has made reliable updates to this car. The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS is no different, receiving a new transmission option for the V-6. The design updates to make up for the controversial styling changes made last year.  The updated 2020 Camaro SS goes on sale early this fall. The changes didn’t well with 2019 model, but this time company has made some facial changes as well.

As the hard work pays off and appreciation goes to the designers for being quick on their feet. As the 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS model gets some cosmetic surgery. Besides the changes, Chevrolet is also adding a new LT1 trim level with V8 power.

The SS now features a repositioned bowtie sign in the upper grille and a body-color bar between the upper and lower grilles. On the other hand, its front-end appearance is based on the characteristic design of the Camaro Shock. This thing helped the automaker put a more positive spin on the decision to change the car’s styling after just one model year.

While talking about its new different aspects, the LT1 is basically a lower-level Camaro 1LT model with the V8 engine. Besides that, it does get the Camaro SS’ vented hood, as well as 20-inch wheels, though. Alongside other changes, the new model has an 8-inch infotainment system. That is equipped with Bose audio system are part of an optional technology package.

The Camaro LT1 is offered in coupe and convertible models. The one is with a standard six-speed manual transmission and three engines or an available 10-speed automatic. It includes 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine still gets the eight-speed gearbox.

The new LT1 model unite the content and design of the Camaro LT (1LT trim) and SS. It is powered by the 455-horsepower (339 kW) LT1 engine, making it the most affordable choice for V-8 performance in the Camaro lineup with a starting MSRP of $34,9951. A new front-end appearance for the SS and a new LT1 V-8 performance model add style and choice to the 2020 Camaro lineup.  While a newly available 10-speed automatic transmission enhances models equipped with the available 3.6L V-6 engine.
