There are so many dirt bikes around and now even bikers have electric dirt bikes as well. But, the Husky FS 450 2020 by Husqvarna has a special place in racers heart. The Husqvarna dirt bikes are always inspiring and bring lots of promised performance for the bikers.  Well the 2020 FS 450 supermoto, a bike describes as “the only OEM produced, single-cylinder competition supermoto machine available”.

Besides other specs, the 2020 model has a compact 27.3kg, 63hp, SOHC single-cylinder engine. It also has a lightweight frame, the latter incorporating a carbon-fibre composite subframe.

2020 The Husky FS 450

While talking about the dirt bike, the ultra-light FS 450 shares much of its tech with Huskvarna’s FC 450 motocross. On the other hand, the brakes are handled by a single 310mm front disc with radial-mount, four-piston Brembo caliper. The bike also has a 220mm disc with single piston caliper at the rear.

While talking about other aspects, the high-spec gear continues with CNC-machined triple clamps, Alpina spoked rims shod with Bridgestone racing slicks, and a Magura hydraulic clutch.

The 2020 machine remains at a claimed 63hp and 220 lbs without fuel. The FS 450 runs traction and launch control, as well as multiple engine mode maps to help keep it as controllable as possible. Besides that, the electronics on the Husqvarna FS 450 remain crude by street bike standards, but still impress in the off-road world with the factory-installed launch control and basic traction control as part of the machine.

The other most important feature for the dirt bikes is the suspension, the suspension components have been changed though, with 48mm WP XACT forks now replacing the 48mm AER unit.  Besides that an XACT shock from WP completes the setup as well. Not only that, the company added Alpina wheels with, 16.5″ up front, with 17″ in the rear. Despite that the Bridgestone tires come fitted from the factory. So, the 2020 bike comes with a blacked out exhaust can, while the blue frame color continues on for another year.
