Finally, the 2020 Toyota Supra has been launched in U.S; the fifth-generation coupe is on sale. Toyota had been teasing fans with new and old; with the long-anticipated car’s configuration for some time now. That will be limited to 1,500 cars, based on the top-spec Supra 3.0 Premium grade. Besides that, the company is allowing the users to use Apple CarPlay functionality for free for four years as well. On the other hand, for first Supra Launch Edition, there will be only 1,500 cars, based on the top-spec Supra 3.0 Premium grade.
According to Toyota officials, “future subscription fees will be available at a later date.” That sounds like Toyota will resort to charging for CarPlay’s use as well.

Coming to the launching in United States, there coupe will be available in three colors only. This includes absolute Zero White and Nocturnal Black will come with the red interior, with red leather on the sport seats. Besides that the red leather on the steering wheel grips, and a red center console with carbon fiber accents. On the other hand, the Renaissance Red 2.0 Launch Edition, however, will have a black leather interior.
For the other specs, after the Supra Launch Edition come the regular cars, with the 2020 Supra offered in 3.0 and 3.0 Premium trims. The first one has a 6.5-inch infotainment display, Alcantara seats, and a broader array of color options. While, the buyers will have plenty option for Renaissance Red 2.0. as, it will be offer in Nitro Yellow, Downshift Blue, Absolute Zero White, Tungsten Silver, Turbulence Gray, Nocturnal Black, and Phantom Matte Gray.
Other Specs and Engine
While, talking about other aspects, the car will have standard pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. It has lane departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Alongside that it will have an optional Driver Assist Package, includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, and parking sensors.
The most important part is the engine; the 2020 Toyota Supra is equipped with s a 3.0-liter engine. It will give 335 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. So, altogether it will have an eight-speed automatic transmission. And this engine will allow you to reach from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. An electronically controlled rear differential metes out power to the rear wheels. Company claims a 50/50 front/rear weight distribution, which should have a positive effect on handling.
