Well, Honda has released a refreshed hybrid 2020 Honda CR-V model. This vehicle has the Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (iMMD) two-motor e-CVT powertrain found in the Euro CR-V and Accord Hybrids. According to the company, the model 2020, the CR-V gets new refreshed styling, new features, and upgraded power-trains. On the other hand, it uses the advanced Honda two-motor electric drive system. Besides that the car has been Upgraded to the 2020 CR-V include new bolder front styling and rear styling.
The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid features four trim grades: LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring. But there are no details of its pricing yet.
2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid
The first thing is the put look, unlike the other models, 2020 CR-V Hybrid models from their unique grille treatment with blue “H” badge. Other than that, the vehicles carries secret exhaust outlets, five-LED fog lamps in Touring models and badging as well.
After that, coming inside, the CR-V is equipped with a new push-button transmission shifter and steering-wheel paddles. That is there to control the regenerative braking power. On the other hand, digital instrument cluster will also present similar hybrid energy flow and eco-scoring screens to those in the Accord Hybrid.
While, coming to the power, the Hybrid version features a pair of electric motors with the 2.0L 16V DOHC Atkinson cycle gas engine. Company says that engine has greater than 40% thermal efficiency, which is the highest for any mass-produced Honda engine. Besides that, the dual-motor hybrid system operates without needing a conventional automatic transmission.
Other than this, the Honda Sensing driver assistance suite was previously only offered on EX and higher trims. All non-hybrid models get a 1.5L VTEC turbo engine. Besides that, the 18-inch wheels on EX and EX-L models are new. But the Touring now comes with larger 19-inch wheels. Well, there are new colors available, and they include Sonic Gray Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, and Aegean Blue Metallic.
