Company official said, “We wouldn’t test it unless we were predisposed to thinking it could win. So our intent is, if it is successful, we absolutely plan to expand it;” Towards the end of year would be the earliest we could do it.” Well according to the company, if the product is a hit, the chain plans to sell the product more widely towards the end of 2019 or early 2020.

David Lipman, Impossible’s chief science officer said, “One of the important things was that although the sausage was new, really it was depending on the platform that we already had. On the other hand, the sausage ingredients are only slightly different to the burgers. The key flavoring still comes from “heme”. The potato protein from the burger has been removed, which the company says gives the meat a bouncier texture.

On the other hand, the company’s larger aim is to pitch itself to a customer base of meat eaters. But. who may have health concerns around animal meat or would consider vegan meat to be an ethical choice. besides that they are also unwilling to eat traditionally unconvincing meat proxies.

Those similarities promise well for the company’s “meat platform” arena. It would be a first demonstration that Impossible can make a whole other meat taste similar with only minimal tweaks to its ingredients and manufacturing process.
