Land Rover 2020 Discovery Sport with mild-hybrid powertrain option has been unveiled by the automakers. This new SUV is equipped with many features; the one is that its 24 different ways to configure the seats. Besides that, company has some slight visual changes while also updating the more important features as well. Land Rover introduces two new models a 246-horsepower I4 from the modular Ingenium engine family and the second one is with a 48-volt mild hybrid with 296 horsepower output.
The new SUV features a new exterior design, upgraded tech inside, and a 48-V mild-hybrid powertrain option. The extended seating for up to seven, time-tested off-road gear, and signature Land Rover design remain intact.

Land Rover always strive and equipped its SUV models with the latest tech, making its vehicle drive friendly, comfortable, luxurious yet powerful. The new Discovery Sport is built on the new Land Rover Premium Transverse Architecture and boasts a body that is 13 percent stiffer than its predecessor.
Besides that, the rigidly-mounted sub-frames are attached, making for a quieter ride and improving safety in the event of a collision. Well, apparently, the front and rear bumpers are new and have little sportier touch look. Other than these changes, the grille is different and there new LED lights to further differentiate the refreshed Disco Sport from its forebear.
Moving inside, the Discovery Sport gets wireless phone charging and a built-in Wi-Fi hot spot for the first time. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are on the menu as well, along with a Smart Settings function for the infotainment system with control like seat position, music, and climate control as well.
Other Specs
The Discovery Sport 2020 also gets a streaming video rearview mirror. Another camera system can show a 180-degree view beneath the vehicle on the central touchscreen. Other available driver aids include adaptive cruise control with steering assist, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, and a driver attention monitor.
In the Discovery Sport, the electrics are paired with a 2.0-liter turbocharged Ingenium four-cylinder engine. On the other hand, in the hybrid models, user will total system output of 296 horsepower versus the non-electrified engine’s 246 horsepower. The 48-volt system works just like it does in the Range Rover Evoque.
