China based company electric bike manufacturer company Evoke Motorcycle has finally unveiled their new design model. After Evoke’s Urban S and Urban Classis company gives the name Evoke 6061 electric motorcycle. The new cruiser model is for city and urban ride. Its name is derived from the “Twin Plate Frame”, which uses a precision laser cutting process that slices out the bike’s frame and battery box from solid T6061 aluminum billet pieces.
All of the powertrain components, battery modules, and tubular subsections of Evoke 6061 electric motorcycle are then directly mounted to the twin plate frame. The rear swing arm uses the same twin plate design and sports dual coil-over rear shocks.
Evoke 6061 Electric Motorcycle
The ultimate thing in any electric motorcycle is the smartness and powerless of the battery. As the battery specification draws the outline for the e-motorbike. Coming to battery of Evoke 6061 electric motorbike, it has a 120 kW (160 hp) in-runner motor with a chain final drive.
Thus it gives over 272 Nm (200 lb-ft) of torque. To get that power to the ground, the Evoke 6061 will sport a 200/55-17 dual compound tire (DCT) in the rear, with a matching DCT 140/70-17 up front.
The Evoke 6061 will be packing 6 of these batteries modules for a combined 15.4 kWh of energy capacity. On the other hand, the extra power provided by the new motor and batteries offer a higher top speed than the previous 130 km/h (81 mph) with Evoke’s Urban Series electric motorcycle.
Evoke has been hard at work developing their latest Gen 2 battery modules. The batteries are capable of a 0-80% charge in just 15 minutes. The company says it has developed both the software and hardware necessary to precisely control the thermal range of the 18650 battery cells during such rapid charging.
