Mercedes-Benz has introduced the second-generation CLA. Mercedes-Benz 2020 CLA 250 is significantly more high-tech than its earlier edition. Besides that, the new CLA stretches a little bit longer and wider, and it rides on a slightly longer wheelbase. Mercedes needed to increase the model’s footprint to avoid creating internal competition for its new all-star, the A-Class Sedan.

Mercedes-Benz 2020 CLA 250 has taken the advantage from the Mercedes-Benz User eXperience (MBUX) infotainment system. And they have displayed on a high-resolution, 10.25-inch touchscreen. The CLA has new artificial intelligence-powered software, which adapts itself to individual users by learning their habits.
For example, if phone call made at the same time on the same day every week or a route driven regularly, it will send you an alert. On the other hand, the natural voice-recognition technology lets the passengers navigate the software’s various functions. They’re also able to use the touchscreen or a touchpad located on the center console.
Besides those features, the next generation Mercedes Benz has different electronic driving assistances. These inlclude lane-keeping assist, speed limit assist, and blind spot assist are also available.
The 2020 CLA 250 comes standard with an Active Brake Assist system that can automatically slow the sedan to avoid collisions with vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians. However, the optional Driver Assistance Package loads the vehicle with helpful driving aids.
It includes features like adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, lane keep assist, speed limit sign recognition, and blind spot monitoring.
The entry-level model is called CLA 250. Power comes from a brand-new, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine turbocharged to deliver 221 horsepower. The car has 5,800 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque from 1,800 to 4,000 rpm. Front-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission come standard, and Mercedes’ 4Matic all-wheel drive system is offered at an extra cost. The 2020 CLA250 has electronically limited top speed of 130 miles per hour (209 kilometers per hour).
