The world leader among the graphics or gaming cards maker, Nvidia is going to introduce its new affordable graphics card. This new GeForce GTX 1660 Ti card is the addition to GTX line. While user might expect the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti to be based on the earlier Pascal architecture but it’s not. Instead, Nvidia is using its latest 12th-generation Turing GPU architecture. That means better performance and less power consumption.
So, this GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is for gamers wanting to build a new gaming machine with 1080p 144Hz performance in games. Or they tend to have1080p 60Hz performance the GTX 1660 Ti is the card is the right choice.

The new GeForce GTX 1660 Ti cad is equipped with many features. Coming to the processor and Ram, The GTX 1660 Ti is based on a brand new TU116 processor, which is similar to the more powerful Turing chips but without the RT and Tensor cores. And with 6GB of the latest GDDR6 memory, Ram with 1.8GHz boost clock. Nvidia says it has a power envelope of 120 watts, giving the GTX 1660 Ti with the best performance per watt of any GPU of its level.
According to the company, Nvidia is backing up that claim with promises of smooth 120 fps gameplay at 1080p in popular battle royale titles like Fortnite, PUBG, and Apex Legends. Not only that, The GTX 1660 Ti is for the faster and better performance in affordable way. The new card runs is also up to 1.5x faster than the GTX 1060 6GB version. It features 6.6 billion transistors, 50% more than the GTX 1060. Incidentally, NVIDIA’s performance improvement claim over the 1060 is also about 50%.
It’s likely that the GTX 1070 will still be a good card for those wanting to spend more money. But the GTX 1660 Ti now offers an extra option for a budget gaming PC and comes with the power and performance advantages of the Turing architecture. Nvidia is making the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti available worldwide this week, priced from $279.
