As every automaker is coming up with new techs, style and performance, Hyundai is also filling the gap. For this reason the 2020 Hyundai Sonata Turbo is making its way to the market. It says that Sedan is losing its charm in front of crossovers and SUVs. But Hyundai is coming up with promise to make to prove it wrong.
Hyundai says the new turbocharged Sonata will also feature sporty and luxurious design enhancements. This is done to give the new Hyundai a distinct look.
The 2020 Hyundai Sonata Turbo
The Sonata Turbo will feature several design elements that will distinguish it from the regular version of the sedan’s eighth generation. the car has a distinctive new mesh grille which Hyundai calls Parametric Jewel. Besides that it has air ducts beneath the headlights which channel air to reduce drag as well. While, at the back, it got a twin exhaust layout, unique bumper, and a small fixed spoiler.
Hyundai’s is generating the power from 1.6-liter turbo-4 that makes 180 horsepower and a 2.5-liter inline-4 that makes 191 hp. On the other hand, The 2020 Hyundai Sonata Turbo is also longer, lower, and wider than its predecessor, tweaks that give it much sexier overall proportions. According to some news, this sedan will be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, or it can be specified with an optional eight-speed automatic transmission. If that happens, it will “further optimize the car’s smooth and efficient throttle response.”
The new Sonata likely will feature automatic emergency braking on every model. Additional safety features such as blind-spot monitors, adaptive cruise control, active lane control, and a surround-view camera system. Besides these features, 2020 Hyundai Sonata Turbo is equipped with blind-spot cameras embedded in the side-view mirror.
