The Alpine A110S joins the A110 Pure and A110 Légende as the most expensive and most powerful of all. According to the automaker, Alpine opted to make its first A110 versions with the same ethos of the 1970s cars which inspired them. As such, “just like that classic model they’re playful and fun to drive,” Jean-Pascal Dauce observes.
Alpine says the package character of its mid-engined sports-car has change. The engine peak-power lasts for 1,400rpm longer than standard and the handling.

Coming to some details, Alpine has an aluminum body structure but with 4mm lower ride height and 50-percent stiffer coil springs. New wheels and tires, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rubber allows deliver more grips. It gets the upgraded Brembo brakes and 320mm bi-material discs that are optional on the car’s other variants.
When talked about the body, it has a new GT Race wheels with a dark finish, carbon fiber and orange flag detailing on the rear pillars, and orange brake calipers. Besides that, there is a carbon fiber gloss-finish roof and cuts almost 4.2 pounds. Not only will that driver also have lightweight Fuchs forged alloy wheels.
Talking about the other options, the interior include carbon fiber finish for the seats. While the Focal audio, Alpine Telemetrics, and parking sensors are all standard. The goal, Alpine says, is a car which can be used every day, despite its responsiveness.
The Alpine A110S comes as the new range-topping model. Alongside that the company gives the faster model a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 288 horsepower. Besides that it produces 236 pound-feet rather than 249 hp and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) from lesser versions. The powertrain allows the A110S hit 62 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds. And it reaches a top speed of 162 miles per hour (260 kilometers per hour).
