The company says that this electric skateboard has maximum stability. And it has three times more capability of turning than any other e-skateboards.
The Riptide R1 Black
The ultimate thing with this new Riptide R1 Black is that, it has three different modes. And these modes are designed according to the ‘type’ of the rider. So riders can switch and select from Beginner, Eco and Expert modes. Riders can switch in between the modes through Bluetooth connectivity.
Coming to its working, the front Surf adapter is responsible for the carving; it’s the Rail adapter at the back which delivers the stability. Riptide R1 Black is designed to keep the rear wheels in-line with the nose of the deck, even if the front truck is doing something different.
According to the makers, a Surf Adapter from Waterborne Skateboards gives it turning performance about three times better than standard R1 models.
Besides that, the R1 Black is equipped with two electric motors. And the motors have 3 to 1 gear ratio. This electric skateboard is purposefully meant to have stability rather than focusing on the speed. It has top speed of 18 mph, and is controlled with a palm-sized wireless controller.
