The adventurous motorcycle makers come with the new and hot version with KTM’s 790 Adventure R. This time it has more energy, style with suspension focused motorcycle. KTM’s 790 Adventure bikes already beat the Yamaha’s Ténéré 700 in the suspension department, with longer-travel partner. So, for adventure sports lover, KTM unveiled the all-new 790 Adventure and Adventure R at EICMA, boosting its mid-range travel and adventure lineup.
Well, the overall effect will be a smoother, more controlled ride that can handle even bigger bumps, curvy channels, rough terrains and rocks.
KTM’s 790 Adventure R
KTM has announced a limited edition model of its middleweight adventure bike. This new bike is with more off-road focused suspension, unique color and graphic design with a clear screen and winglets. On the other hand, the KTM 790 Adventure R Rally will be limited to just 500 units worldwide. Moreover it will hit the terrain equipped with narrower wheels with tubed tyres for off-road use.
Besides that the Rally has footrests for added grip, and a weight-saving Akrapovic exhaust, carbon fibre tank protectors and standard quick-shifter. The 790 Adventure R Rally joins the KTM 790 Adventure family with the same steel trellis frame and LC8c 799 cc parallel-twin engine, the engine is there to give 95 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 89 Nm of peak torque kicking in at 6,500 rpm.
Now talking about the added things, the key difference is of course the rally-spec suspension. The KTM 790 Adventure R already equipped with best-spec, full-adjustable 48 mm WP closed-cartridge Xplor fork. Additionally, now the 790 Adventure R Rally offers even more suspension travel, adding 30 mm of suspension travel.
The KTM 790 Adventure range already has serious off-road credentials and now the 790 Adventure R Rally joins the standard KTM 790 Adventure. The bike is with even more hardcore off-road ability, to the level of full rally-spec capability.
